Procession

"I've been fascinated by the 'death dance' for a very long time. When I saw the lake for the first time, in my imagination there was a procession around the lake, as if it was already there. The death that calls everyone, takes everyone away. Old, young, rich, poor, famous. A dance away from the visible, familiar world. I translate the death into a bridal dance, the bride who speaks to everyone's imagination. Once the most beautiful woman, giving birth to love and life ... But dreams fades away. Since I'm young, I knew the fairy tale was'nt true: The prince on the white horse falls in love with the princess. They marry and live happily ever after. But just what happens in between, that's my source of inspiration for this bridal procession. It begins with the bride, full of expectation and life. And ends with death... The life lived."
